SB 754: Comprehensive crime bill, modifies provisions relating to public safety and includes Blair’s Law (Blair was an 11-year-old girl who was killed by celebratory gunfire in Kansas City.  Her mother, pictured below, has been coming to the capitol for 13 years trying to pass this law.  She was present to watch on the day that it passed.  It was quite emotional for her.)
